This is one of the tests that needs to be done for the WebSphere interface. This should be done once setup is complete.
- In Readysell, find an existing store product and change the price on it. Save your changes.
- Run the task Office Brands Sync to send up the change on the existing store product.
- Open up Web Admin using the log in details for the site (use the Web Sphere log in details on the Logins tab in Recon for the customer to log in as the site).
- Going into Web Admin proves that the action of sending is working from Readysell's point of view. Changes are sent through automatically to the web, but we use Web Admin to prove that it is in fact being sent.
- Select Products.
- Find Catalog Entries.
- Key in the product code into the Code field, and make sure the field next to it reads as Matches containing.
- Click Find.
- Check that the information on the following tabs is correct:
- Details tab: the code uploaded, the name uploaded and any Manufacturer you have uploaded on that product.
- Category tab: the category that the product will sit under on the customer's web site.
- Description tab: the product code, short description and long description of the product.
- Images tab: any images going up with the product or existing images on the product that will be showing on the web.
- The Custom and Extended Description tabs are not relevant to this testing.
- Left click on the flag box (left hand side of the screen) for the product to select it.
- Click on Prices.
- Click on Pricing Summary. This will show you the pricing that has been sent up to the web.
- Log out of Web Admin when you have finished with it.
- Log onto the Customer's website using the user id and password as recorded in Recon.
- Search for products you just changed the pricing on.
- Look at the pricing and verify it is correct.
- Log out of the customer's website when you have finished checking.
- Check the Office Brands Message window in Readysell 8 to confirm that the message has been sent.
- Check the Office Brands Message window a short while later for a success or failure message.
