Checking the correct store products are set to display on the web

Overview

You should check to see the correct store products are set to display on the web site on a regular basis. Store products will only show on the web if the "Display on website" checkbox on the product is ticked. To check your store product setup we setup a product view variant to show which store products are displaying on the web.


Procedure

Select products from the navigation panel, then select the "Products with stock levels" list view

Click on "view variants" and select "new", then enter the caption "Store products review" and click on the "OK" button.

The system will change views. Select the "Store products review" list from the list of product views

Right click on the column headings and select "column chooser", then click on add. Then add the columns "catalogue product","Quantity rank","Value rank" and "display on website"

Right click on the column headings and select "fitler editor"

Paste the filter below into the text tab on the filter editor

[Product ID] Not Like '7______'

Click on the last shipped column heading until your product sort by descending date of last shipped.

Your screen layout is now ready. Review your products and decide which store products you want to display on the website. For all store products you want to display on the website. Make sure the "Display on website" checkbox is ticked for any products where the "Catalogue Product" checkbox is ticked.

Store products will not display on the web unless the "display on website" checkbox is ticked.



Catalogue products always display on the website. For catalogue products, checking the "display on website" flag causes the price from your Readysell system to display on the website for that product instead of the default sell prices.
