How price book runs, catalogue updates and automatic price updates change product status


Office Brands from time to time flag a product as Active or Obsolete.

Assuming you have not enabled the "Ignore Catalogue Status" flag on a product, Readysell handles such changes as follows:

  • If data portal/price book status "Active", set the product to "Active"
    • Products that are active products on the OneX database and which are on your system's product file should be active products
  • If data portal/price book status is "Obsolete" and the product is currently "Active", set it to "Obsolete"
    • Stop automated purchasing of the product, but allow the product to be sold so you can sell your existing stock (see Product Status for more details), unless you have already marked it as "Discontinued" or "Archived", in which case your changes will be retained
