Discount on a salweb xml total header pricing
<PromotionCode>$25OFF</PromotionCode>
<Discount>-25.00000</Discount>
The web order xml is what Readysell uses to bring the order into the sales module as a SALWEB.
From the salweb, click on Related, click on Show Office Brands Messages, select the web order, on the right hand side the xml will show.
If your xml of the SALWEB shows the above lines in the top section where it details the total of the sale, then you will need to use your SPECIAL product code on the sale.
The xml shows the $25 off as a promotion code as a header. It is not a product line.
Unless it's a product line on the order, this kind of promotion unfortunately cannot currently be added into the SALWEB in Readysell automatically.
You would need to use the SPECIAL product code, manually key it in to the sale line and put a -1 in the qty and the value as $25.00
This would then take the value off the order for the customer.
SPECIAL product
If you are using this, you need to make sure that the category type is non-stock products. If it is set to Stock control products, you cannot use this product for this sale line addition to the salweb order.
If the special product is set to Stock control products, then you will need to set up a Discount type non stock control product with a relevant Non stock products category that goes to the correct GL account. If you are unsure which GL accounts or which category, please contact Readysell with a ticket or email support@readysell.com.au with this enquiry and we will answer this as soon as possible.
If the discount is applied throughout the sale - the above is not the correct procedure to handle this. The discount should already show on the lines of the sale.
