Has the sales back order been placed on a purchase order and what is the date the stock is due to arrive?

Has it been ordered?

Look at the column Date Due, if a purchase order has been raised, this is the date it is due.

When are we expecting it to arrive? For items on Back Order, our most relevant suppliers display an ETA. For "in stock" items the ETA is usually x days from the date of the order. Is there somewhere in Readysell that such information can be entered. If so, then how can the POS staff find it?

Look at the column Date Due, if a purchase order has been raised, this is the date it is due.

As per standard training, there is a couple of fields on the supplier card (tab Settings, sub-tab Supplier Settings)

  • Lead Time

  • Operating Days

The purchase order uses the Lead Time and looks at the Operating Days and calculates what date the stock is due.

If the supplier tells you there is a backorder with an estimated date, you can change the Date Due on the purchase order line to be whatever date it is due.  If it's for the whole of the purchase order, change the Date Due at the top of the purchase order as well.

******Date Due shows on sales orders, sales back orders, purchase orders as well as on the product itself if you go to Show Breakdown and select Purchase order it shows the purchase order.
