Exporting files/reports from a WVD Cloud Client

As the Cloud Client is not local to the Workstation is it connecting with, the client needs to navigate to the local drives on the Client PC to export reports from Readysell. Below is a recommended procedure for completing this task.

  1. Created a new folder on your local drive which will be used for exporting the reports from Readysell. it is recommended to be in the root folder (Main section of the drive) to avoid navigating the subfolders unnecessarily. We would also recommend creating a shortcut on the Desktop in the same folder for easy access once the item is export to Readysell.

  2. Once the folder is created, open the readysell client and export a file/report.

  3. A Save prompt box will appear on the screen. From this point, navigate to the created folder on your local drive within the WVD Session to export the file/report. Generally, the Local PC drives within the session are labelled be the drive letter followed but the PC name. E.g. C: on DAVEPC, E: on SALESNUC, etc. The C: drive within the session is NOT the local drive on PC and files should not be export into this drive.

  4. Once the files/reports are exported to the folder, minimise your session and open the created folder. If it is complete successfully, the file/report should appear in this folder.
