The 'Show Allocation' Button is a link that shows you a list of all Transaction that have been allocated against a Transaction.

An example of the 'Show Allocation' button:

Click on Relationships
Click on Card
Highlight a Customer or Supplier Card within the View
Click on Either 'Customer Open Items' Tab or 'Supplier Open Items' Tab
You will see a list of all Open items that relate to the card in question
Highlight a Open Item with the List
Click on 'Show Allocations'
Allocation Window with a Transaction Type of 'CRDALC' will open with details of what transactions have been allocated against the Open Item in question.
