Getting Started with connecting your computer to your Readysell Cloud Software

Overview

In order to connect to Readysell’s latest WVD cloud software, you need to:

  • download and setup a new Readysell client program on your computer

  • login the first time with a new user and a temporary password

  • change the password when you first login to your permanent password

  • enter phone or email details for security purposes

The procedure above has to be completed for every Readysell user in your business. The old Readysell cloud client no longer works with our latest WVD cloud environment.

Procedure

Download the client software appropriate for your computer:

To Check which version of windows a system is running, Right Click on the Start menu icon on the task bar and the left click on the System option. This will open a windows on the screen and will state which version of Windows it is.

 

Open the Remote desktop installation program once it has downloaded

As shown in the screen print below. When the client program downloads, it will normally show on the bottom left of your browser, but how it shows can vary a little depending on your browser. Click the left mouse button on the little down arrow pull down icon on the right hand side of the downloaded file and select “Open” or “Run”.

 

Installing the Readysell Remote Desktop Client

Click on the “Next” button when the “Welcome to Remote Desktop Setup Wizard” window displays.

 

 When the “End-User Licence Agreement” window is displayed.

  • Click on the “I accept the terms in the Licence Agreement” checkbox, it should show as ticked after you click on it.

  • Then click on the “Next” button.

When the “Installation Scope” window is displayed:

  • Click on the “Install for all users of this machine” option. The second option in the list. The circle should show with a black dot at the middle after you click on the option

  • Then click on the “Install” button near the bottom right of the window

 

 When the “Complete the Remote Desktop Setup Wizard” window displays:

  • Click on the “Launch Remote Desktop when setup exists” checkbox

  • Then click on the “Finish” button

 

 

 

When the “Let’s get started” window displays:

  • Click on the “Subscribe” button

 

When the “Sign in” window displays:

  • Enter the username and password for your Readysell user that was emailed to you by Readysell

  • Then click the “Next” button

 

 When the “Update your password” window displays:

  • Enter the password Readysell sent you for your user

  • Then think of a new password

  • Then enter your new password twice, once in the “New Password” field and once in the “Confirm password” field.

  • Then click the “Sign In” button

You have to enter information to be used to verify your identity in future, particularly if you loose your password.

When the “More information required” window displays:

  • Click the “Next” button

 

 When the “Keep your account secure” window is displayed, you have to elect to enter phone or email details for security purposes. Two-factor authentication will send messages to the phone or email address you select:

  • In the “Choose a method” popup box. Select “Phone” or “email”. Note, most people select “Phone” and request an “SMS” message

If you select “Phone”:

  • Enter your phone number

  • Check the “Text me a code” option

  • Then click the “Next” button

 

 

If you select “Email”:

  • Enter your email address

  • Then click on the “Next” button

If you selected “Phone” and “text message” a six digit code will be sent to your phone as a message:

  • Enter the six digit code into the “Keep your account secure” screen

  • Then click the “Next” button

  • Note, if you can’t find the message, click the “Resend code” button

Once your six digit code is verified, the message “SMS verified” will show in the window:

  • Click the “Next” button

When the “Stay signed up in all your apps” window displays:

  • Click the “No, sign in to this app only” button, a red border should show around the button

  • Click the “OK” button

When the “Remote Desktop” window displays:

  • Click on the “Subscribe” button.

 

Readysell is now setup on your computer. Click on the “Readysell” icon to log onto Readysell.
