Sending a price level only contract to the web

Where your customer card has no actual contract set up for them in your contracts module, Readysell will send up in a price level contract in background and will only be visible in the Office Brands Messages module in Readysell and then also visible in Web Admin.

NOTE: Where you see a flyer contract - this DOES NOT send to the web. Flyers are placed on the web by Office Brands. They are not sent up via contract in Readysell.

To trouble shoot whether the price level contract sent or not…

In Office Brands Messages

  • (Navigation panel > Administration > Advanced > Office Brands Messages > Change filter at the top of the window to All Messages)

  • Filter column header Message Type to only show Create update contract

  • Check the contract is shown there and with a Success Status (the XML Request tab will show the details of who the card/customer is for that price level upload)

If the price level contract upload is not in the Office Brands Messages module, follow the steps below…

In Cards

  • Search and find the customer and select them, on tab Settings, sub tab Customer Settings

  • Does the customer have a Web Customer Name - this must be filled in to match the Org Entity Name in Web Admin

  • Change the price level from Gov to List, add full stop at end of web customer name, click on button Save.  Change the price level back to Gov, remove full stop at end of web customer name, hit save.

In Tasks

  • search for task Office Brands Sync and select it, click on tab Parameters

  • Mark the parameter for ForceContractRelink to have a value of True and click on button Save

  • Click on button Run Task Now (or wait for it to kick off on its own.

In Web Admin

  • Click on Sales

  • Click on Accounts

  • Click on button Find

  • Find the customer web customer name/org entity name

  • On the result, left click on the number where it says number of contracts

  • Filter to show only Active contracts

  • The price level contract should be there - Select the contract (tick the tick box) and click on button Summary to see what is on that contract

If the price level contract made it to Web Admin, then Readysell has done what it needs to do and if this price level is not working for the customer, then you will need to take this up with Office Brands at this point giving them a copy of the XML Request and the XML response from the Office Brands Messages step above.
