Barcode Prefixes
If you prefix a barcode with the letter below followed by a pipe (for example S|123456), Readysell will recognise those barcodes as belonging to specific object types and handle them appropriately.

| C | Card | Card ID | - On sale entry, the matching customer card will be add or replaced

| G | Gift Voucher | Value (in dollars, first 6 digits)
Voucher Number (remainder) | - On sale entry, gift voucher product will be added as a new line and voucher number automatically associated
- On sale tender, gift voucher tender method will be selected and voucher number automatically populated
- Elsewhere, the gift voucher details will be shown on the screen

| I | Sale Invoice | Transaction Number | - On delivery runs, the related shipment(s) will be added to the delivery run
- Elsewhere, the invoice details will be shown on the screen

| L | Lay-By | Transaction Number | - Lay-by details will be shown on the screen

GIFT = Gift Registry
INPL = In Place | - On Readysell Point of Sale, changes the current bar code scanner's mode

- Elsewhere, the shipment details will be shown on the screen
