Opening a new case

  1. In the navigation From the Navigation panel, double- click Relationships, then click CardsCase.
  2. Click New to create a new case. The Case Details screen will display

     

  3. In the top section of the Card Case Details screen, enter background details for the card:

    • Card Case Number is uniquely automated
    • Case Name  identifies the card in the system.
    • Card

      Type is a method of grouping cards together for contract pricing, reporting, and so on.
    • Status is the customer's status. Usually this will be Active for new customers.
    • Name is the customer's name.
    • Is Customer tells Readysell that this card is a customer.

    •  select the customer.

  1. Click on the Activities tab
  2. Click on New 
  3. Select a Communication Method 
  4. Enter any Notes as required (e.g., copy/paste email)

  5. Click Events tab to create a schedule entry
  6. Click on New
  7. Enter Subject 
  8. Specify Start and End On date and time

    1. select the required availability Status 
    2. select the required Label 
    3. schedule the event as a Recurrence

  10. Click on Staff tab then click on Insert

  11. Select a user to assign the event to

  12. Click Schedule to see the event calendar for the user

  13. When you have finished, click Save

    to save the customer's record in Readysell.

     (a pop up box may appear requesting mandatory fields)

  14. Update the case Workflow Status to Ready in order to finalise i.e., post or close, the case.
