Barcode Prefixes
If you prefix a barcode with the letter below followed by a pipe (for example S|123456), Readysell will recognise those barcodes as belonging to specific object types and handle them appropriately.

| G | Gift Voucher | - On sale entry, gift voucher product will be added as a new line and voucher number automatically associated
- On sale tender, gift voucher tender method will be selected and voucher number automatically populated
- Elsewhere, the gift voucher details will be shown on the screen

| W | Location | - On input from batch scan device, location for subsequent lines will be set
- On stock location transfer, default from location will be set
