If your Head Office provides you with competitor pricing details, you can follow this procedure to import them into Readysell.

Verifying The Definition

  1. First Receive your Spreadsheet from Head Office.
  2. In the Navigation Panel, Go to Import/Export then find the Competitors Pricing Definition that Readysell has Set Up For You.
  3. Click on the definition Definition to open it.

  4. Setting up the fields to import, apparentlyif Necessary. You should not Need to Add or Remove any Fields.
  5. Make sure that the 'OB EzCode' column is 'Key'.
  6. When you have finished, click Save if you want to save your changes for future imports.Import the data.Changes for Future Imports.
  7. Click Import Data to Import the Data into Readysell.
  8. Windows opens a File Dialog Box. Select the file you want to Import, then click Open.
  9. Readysell will import the data contained in that file, and then display a confirmation message. Click OK to complete the import.

Extracting The Data

  1. Go to the Extract Price Book Run window.
  2. Select the Correct Price Book Run. This will be called something like Competitor Data.
  3. Ensure the Settings Tab has no Data in it.
  4. On the Price Level Mapping Tab, Ensure that the Price Levels are Appropriately Mapped.

  5. On the Match On tab, Ensure that you are Matching EZ Code to Product ID.
  6. When you have Finished, click OK. Readysell will Extract Data from the Price Book.
  7. Review the Data to Ensure it is Correct, then Click Post to Post it to the Product File.
